Rotgipfler, Zierfandler & Co

In Baden, the best grapes thrive on the sun-drenched slopes on the edge of the Pannonian lowlands and are processed into quality wines by traditional winemakers. Around 12,000 hectolitres of juice from the vine are produced here each year by winegrowers, tasted by wine experts and imbibed by wine lovers at the typical Heurigen wine taverns in the region. Baden wines are characterized by a fruity, full-bodied bouquet and strong aroma. The range extends from light wines, which delicately and palatably slip down the throat, to heavy varieties, which delight the palate with a grapey sweetness.
