Rosarium Baden – a blooming backdrop for your picnic
Directly adjacent to the picnic lawn lies the Rosarium Baden – one of the largest rose gardens in Europe. From May to October, more than 800 varieties of roses burst into bloom each year, creating a true feast for the eyes and the senses. A stroll through the fragrant rose beds is the perfect prelude to relaxing on the lawn with a picnic basket.
Festival La Gacilly-Baden Photo – where art eeets nature
Another highlight near the picnic area is the Festival La Gacilly-Baden Photo. This outdoor photo exhibition transforms the entire Doblhoffpark – including the picnic lawn – into a stunning open-air gallery. Hundreds of large-format photographs are displayed each year among tree-lined paths, streams, and flowerbeds, inspiring reflection, wonder, and conversation.
A magical Moonlight Picnic
For a truly special experience, don’t miss the beautifully curated Moonlight Picnic. Local vintners host a wine stand, accompanied by live DJ music – creating a relaxed, enchanting atmosphere. It’s the perfect way to start a summer weekend, with two dates scheduled in July and August.
