Rose Stage

August 2024

Every year, the "Rosenbühne" invites you to a great music spectacle of a special kind! Once again, this year, the Orangery in Doblhoffpark offers a unique setting for these summer concerts, but only in good weather!

Dates 2024

CELTICA - August 2 7 p.m.

The sound, the show!

The majestic, mystical sound of the Great Highland Bagpipe rises above the energetic rock band influences from Irish folk, symphonic metal and even classical music mix with Celtic music bursting with joie de vivre. This sound and the spectacular show guarantee an unforgettable concert experience. Mystical torches on the bagpipes and burning drumsticks thundering on mighty drums create an iconic atmosphere, flames shooting from the instruments thrill audiences worldwide... These are the reasons why Celtica is one of the most booked acts at Celtic, Scottish, medieval or even "normal" city festivals.

KLANGBLUT - August 3 7 p.m.

"Klangblut" Acoustic pop that gets under your skin - A musical-acoustic, soulful profundity, in whose centre interpersonal and social themes of the past, present and future are. Authentic, blunt lines, whether in English or German, take the listener on an emotional journey. The powerful, clear voice and the rhythmic guitar form the basis of every "Klangblut work".

SIFTING SAND - August 4 7 p.m.

For 25 years, SIFTING SAND, mostly as a trio (Reinhold Kern - b/voc, Peter Pro-chazka - git/voc, Gustav Moser - git/voc), has endeavoured to go its own way of interpretation and arrangement. Even well-known songs shine in "new splendour" or you only recognize them on second listening. Especially the "Unplugged - Program" with hits and classics from 50 years of rock and pop history convinces with its delicate instrumental elaboration and charming polyphonic singing, for which the recognition prize in the category of cabaret of the municipality of Baden was awarded. So far, so better, a new program from the old days, unplugged (surrounded by roses) presented with charm and passion by musicians who have experienced the development of folk and rock music over 5 decades since Woodstock.
